Newegg Eggsperience

Safe, fast, reliable, and overall cheaper prices would be my description of newegg.com. I place at as my favorite online store not only because I have shopped there for over ten years and have received fast shipping and excellent customer service but also becuase of an extended, extremely aggravating issue I had with them. Last year I bought a video card that was not working correctly and decided to return it. Unfortunately for me, the original box it came in had been thrown away. (i.e. its required for a refund!) So I contacted Newegg and they told me to contact the videocard maker. I emailed and called their offices but nobody answered nor wrote back. After a drawn out discussion with several representatives from Newegg I was able to return the item to them and get a refund. I returned the item, 2nd day air, and the tracking number showed it was in the wharehouse. I called Customer Service and they stated the item was received but they had lost it in the warehouse. After more than a week the Videocard was found and 3 days after that I received my refund. Total time waiting from start of issue to refund was over a month! LOL. I was so distraught, how could my favorite store do this to me! I contacted Newegg and they sincerely apologized and credited me with the shipping of the items, they reimbursed my restocking fee, they gave me an extra 30$ credit toward my next order and another 25$ credit to the order after that! They also shipped my next order 2nd day air. Bottom line, if you are going to have an issue with a product or a company, have it with newegg. Not only is having an issue with them very rare, but they will resolve it and try their hardest to retain you as a regular.
